Principal's Message

  • Dear Sunburst Family,    

    I am excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year.  It is an honor to serve the staff, students, parents and community as the Principal of Sunburst for the past 5 years.  Our entire staff is devoted to our mission of providing each student with an exemplary educational experience in a safe and supportive environment.  

    At Sunburst Elementary, we understand the importance of addressing our students’ academic and social emotional needs and while still developing work habits and social skills.  Our goal at Sunburst is to educate the whole child. A whole child approach ensures that each student is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. This approach sets the standard for comprehensive, sustainable school improvement and provides for long-term student success. Sunburst staff emphasizes rigorous academics balanced with modeling the importance of community.  

    We are thankful to all of our families for your continued support and partnership in your child’s learning. We want your child and your family to have an outstanding year here at Sunburst.
