    7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

    Purpose

    The purpose of the Richard E. Miller Library is to support our student's education as lifelong learners and readers by putting resources in the hands of students and the school community, encouraging students to read, teaching students the skills necessary to evaluate information and encouraging student responsibility.

    Guidelines and Expectations

    • Kindergarten through second grade students check out one book at a time. The circulation period is for a one six-day cycle.
    • Third through fifth grade students check out two books at a time. The circulation period is for a one six-day cycle.
    • Parents may check out ten books at a time for a two week period.
    • Staff members have unlimited circulation access to the items in the student and teacher resource collection.

    Library Staff

    Renee Morrison has been the Library Technician at Richard E. Miller School since 2006. Prior to that she was at Ocotillo School Library for five years and a total of 17 years with Washington Elementary School District. Her love of literature and reading has made sharing these with students a very enjoyable activity. She is proud to help our students become lifelong learners.
