Dear Parents, 

A big Welcome back to school this year.  It feels good to be back to "somewhat" normal.  I say that because we are still experiencing some COVID cases and students, as well as staff, must remain at home for at least five days, fever free upon their return to school.  We continue to maintain hand washing and disinfecting throughout the day.

It has been a great start to the school year.  We continue to focus on our school expectations and procedures, as well as maintaining a happy and safe school environment.

We have many opportunities in which you can get involved in your child's school career.  Please check out our very active PTO organization at LOMPTO.org.  We will be welcoming volunteers on to our campus in the next coming month as the district works to finalize the volunteer handbook and background check procedure. 

There is also the opportunity to become a substitute teacher for the district and/or exclusively for just Lookout Mountain.
