The Washington Elementary School District Sports Council arranges activities for Interscholastic Athletics. The council arranges for the officials, sets the standards and arranges the schedule for athletic events.

Interscholastic Athletics provided at Desert Foothills include: cross country for boys and girls, girls and boys volleyball, basketball for boys and girls, wrestling, girls softball, soccer for boys and girls and track and field for boys and girls. All team members pay a $25.00 participation fee per sport.
