Principal's Message

  • Welcome Panther families, students and community to the 2024-2025 school year!

    My name is Shannon Sixel, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new Palo Verde Principal!

    I joined Palo Verde last year as the Assistant Principal, and quickly found a special place in my heart for the staff, students and community, because it is easy to do. It is a place where teachers and staff are dedicated experts, that build great relationships, and truly love our students.

    Our new mission is to “Ensure the success of our diverse school community.” Palo Verde students, are all of our students. We encourage families and Panther community members to support and engage with our students’ education, in order to prepare them to be happy, successful community members and continued learners. The success of our Palo Verde students and school, is all of our success!

    We believe in maintaining high standards, because they deserve it. Our teachers collaborate continuously, using student data and prioritizing well-being to achieve great student success.

    I am very excited to be on this adventure together, and I anticipate a wonderful school year!
