The goal of the Management Information Systems (MIS) Department is to provide and maintain state of the art, uninterrupted automation and communications between local users, school district locations and areas outside the District boundaries, as well as providing and maintaining appropriate application software for the district to efficiently function in an educational/business environment.
MIS has the sole responsibility of evaluation, acquiring, installing and maintaining all technology equipment utilized for distributing data, voice and video content. The department is staffed with teams of technicians to cover all 32 school locations and two administrative areas throughout the 44-square-mile district. Teams consist of network administrators, applications analysts, telecommunication technicians and field technicians.
Also positioned in MIS is the Help Desk that is the level one response center for immediate problem notification, prediagnoses and initial problem resolution of all technology related tribulations.
