Principal's Message

  • Welcome to a brand new school year! I hope you all had a restful summer filled with family fun and time to relax. We have some exciting events planned this year for our community and students. Please check out our calendar events in our monthly newsletters and online. We also have fliers for upcoming events available in the front office each month.

    Maryland School has continued to show growth as measured by the Arizona Department of Education. Our students have shown growth on the 2018 Azmerit due to our teachers' commitment, as well as our parental support, to ensure our students succeed. We know that we will continue to show growth this upcoming year as we move forward with an exciting opportunity with the University of Virginia Darden School of Business Turnaround program. To hear more about this program and all other news on campus, please join us by coming to our monthly Site Council meetings, which occur on the third Thursday of each month at 4:00p.m. in the library. I am proud of our staff, students and the community for supporting Maryland and believing in the achievement of our students!
