When a student is absent, a parent/guardian must call the school on or before the day of the absence to advise the school as to the reason for the absence. Our attendance office number is 602-896-5422. Messages may be left on the attendance line 24 hours a day. Only a parent or guardian can call and excuse an absence.

In an effort to minimize interruptions to the classrooms at the end of the day, students cannot be checked out any later than 3:00 p.m. on regular school days and 1:30 p.m. on early release days. This time is reserved for announcements, homework assignments, and end-of-the-day instructions.

Students may participate in volleyball, soccer, basketball, cross-country, cheer, wrestling, track and softball. Eligibility for competition will be determined by quarter report cards and midterm reports.

Uniforms are not required, however, students must adhere the dress code.

Breakfast and lunch are free for all students. Breakfast is served from 7:55 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. in classroom. Lunches are served daily in the cafeteria.

All parents and guardians have a ParentVUE account that can be used to access important information about their student such as grades and attendance. Parents/guardians will need an activation key to log on for the first time. You can obtain an activation key by visiting the school office and bringing a photo ID. Students are to be dropped off and picked up in our parking lot located at 31st Avenue and Cholla Street. Vehicles must enter from 31st Avenue and exit onto Cholla Street. The bus bays are for dropping off and picking up students who are transported by our school buses. Please do not drop off and/or pick up your child in our bus bays.

A late bus is typically provided Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 4:45 p.m., however, there are some exceptions throughout the year (parent/teacher conferences week, etc.). The Transportation Department and administration have the right to cancel late buses in the event of extremely low need.

All visitors must sign in and obtain a visitor badge in the front office before proceeding onto our campus.
