Palo Verde Middle School offers a wide range of interscholastic sports: 

• Fall- Girls/Boys Volleyball, Cross Country, and Girls Soccer
• Winter- Cheer, Girls/Boys Basketball, and Wrestling
• Spring- Girls Softball, Track, and Boys Soccer

Palo Verde competes against the four other middle/junior high schools in the Washington Elementary School District:  Cholla, Desert Foothills, Mountain Sky, and Royal Palm. 

All 7th & 8th grade students are eligible to try out for the athletic teams.  Academic eligibility is checked weekly.  All policies pertaining to athletics are found in the school's athletic handbook.

All athletes must read the athletic handbook with their parent/guardian, sign and return the portion that signifies that handbook was read to their coach, turn in athletic contract, and pay a $25.00 participation fee.    Also, athletic passes for home and away games are for sale.  This is a great deal... even if you only plan to attend a few games, you will save money with these cards.  The cost of these cards is $10.00 for either a Student Activity Card, or a Parent Activity Card.
